What a blessed glorious day He has given us to start reading the Book of Ephesians! This week prayerfully read through the book in it’s entirety each day.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. Ephesians 1:7+

Lavished! (lavished-to superabound (in quantity and quality); caused to excel, be in excess, be superfluous;—have more abundance, be more abundant). Think
His grace exceedingly greatly lavished on you!

Yesterday, as Kenan and Susanna’s pastor preached through the resurrection, he stated notable truths that start with a sobering eternal reminder and consummate in great hope and comfort.

You are on the way to the grave
Yet, if you are in Christ

You will not die alone
You will not face judgment alone

I will not die alone, He will be with me. I will not bear the wrath of God, He bore it for me. Praying you will revel alongside me today in these truths and know His exceedingly abundant, lavished upon us, grace.

But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:54-58
